The voice lives
in the body.
Not the mind.
YOGA & SOMATIC VOICE WORK
Your voice is not
something to fix.
It's something
to return to.
An integrated practice rooted in breath, movement, and sound. When the body softens, the voice follows. This work isn't about sounding better — it's about feeling like yourself when you speak.
Actor training methods
Fitzmaurice Voicework, ®Linklater Voice Training, 200-hr Yoga & Pranayama
Where breath,
body, and sound
meet.
Somatic voice work starts from the premise that voice problems are rarely voice problems. They're body problems — patterns of tension, restriction, and held breath that formed long before you ever stood up to speak.
Drawing on actor training methodologies — Fitzmaurice Voicework®, Linklater, Roy Hart — alongside yoga and somatic movement practice, this work creates the conditions for your natural voice to emerge.
“The same tools that train actors to fill a theatre translate directly to anyone who needs to be heard, believed, and felt. You don’t need to be a performer to train like one.”
Lineages & methods

What shifts
People come for the voice.
They stay for what else changes.
Whether you're an actor deepening your instrument, a leader who freezes under pressure, or a speaker who wants to stop performing and start connecting — this is the work.
-
Releasing the held breath patterns that compress the voice and keep the nervous system on edge
-
When the body is regulated, being in a room with people stops feeling like something to manage
-
Not a performance of confidence — a return to the voice you were always meant to have
-
Nervous system tools that work when the stakes are high and the old patterns want to take over
-
A fuller, richer voice that carries — without pushing, straining, or performing
-
Tools that travel with you — not a dependency on the session, but a relationship with your body
This work is for you if...
—You're a speaker, leader, or communicator who feels technically capable but emotionally disconnected when you deliver
—You're an actor looking to deepen your physical voice work beyond the studio — or return to it outside one
—You want the rigour of actor training without needing to be in a conservatoire to access it
—Anxiety, tension, or nerves show up in your body before they show up in your mind
—You have a yoga or movement practice and want to bring that awareness into how you speak
—You want to work with someone who understands the body, not just the voice
